I found my way over after Willoughby insisted we come check out your blog! LOL! Actually, she said "recommend books" and I couldn't stay away.

Since you have read quite a few Stephen King books, I am assuming that you like him? If so, you MUST check out "The Talisman" and "Black House"...in that order, as they go together. Also, I finished "Duma Key" not long ago and was NOT disappointed.

If you are into twisted, semi-historical novels, my favorite book is one titled "Fox's Earth" by Anne Rivers Siddons. It's quite a long winded read, but it's the story of one southern woman's "legacy" (read: crazy genes) and how it affects her family and those around her. It spans from the mid 1800s to 1960-ish. It's a GREAT read...if you're into that kind of thing!

Thanks for the invite Willoughby. Hey Purple, have you read the Twilight series yet? My daughter is about your age and she has read every single one of them a minimum of 5 times each. I also read them (only once, though) and found them intriguing as well. The movie doesn't compare, btw.

Just dropping by from Willoughby's blog to say HI! I totally recommend the book- Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier. It is the first in a series of 4 books and a really good read!
