Recycling t-shirts!

Today Willoughby, her daughter and I wanted to do some craft projects. We found alot of sweet ideas on a website called Instructables. Check it out. Anyways, so we went to the dollar store to get some supplies and ended up not finding what we wanted. All we left with was candy. We came up with the idea to make bracelets out of t-shirts. Then from our very own imagination made belts, necklaces and headbands. I'll show you how to make some now.

Bracelets!

First, find an old t-shirt you don't mind getting rid of.

Cut the sleeve's into as many strips as you want your bracelet to be thick. I used two or three.

Also cut a thinner strip to cover and wrap around the seams.

You'll stretch them all out. If there a little big it's okay. You can wrap it a few times if needed.

You'll end up with something like this.

Head Band!

Take a t-shirt and cut the bottom part as straight as possible.

Wrap it around so it's doubled it it's too big. I used a kids t-shirt. If it's too small cut it and tie it behind your head.

Have fun!

**Warning: It gets quite messy. Only because some t-shirts shed. Easy clean up though!**

That was so much fun! I tried one of the headbands on this morning and, I have to say, they look much better on you than they do on me!
